Please join us for the next monthly meeting of the Chicago Tea Party will be held on Thursday, 8 December 2011 at 7:00pm at the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville located at 1059 W. Addison, Chicago, IL.
US Congressman Joe Walsh will be the keynote speaker and discuss the latest news about what is happening in Washington, DC and our home state. To accommodate the schedule of US Congressman Walsh and the requirement for a larger facility, the Chicago Tea Party has changed the regular date and meeting location just for the month of December 2011.
Featured speaker on small business is Michael Kramer, an award winning leadership consultant and successful entrepreneur. He created courses in "best management practices" for the University of Chicago and lectured at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and DePaul University. Kramer co-developed a curriculum for the Coleman Center of Entrepreneurship and was awarded the "Most Innovative Program of the Year" award by the Duman Center of Entrepreneurship.
Our third featured speaker and fellow Chicago Tea Party member is C. Steven Tucker, who owns Small Business Insurance Services, Inc., an insurance brokerage firm that helps small businesses and the self-employed find and purchase affordable health and life insurance products.A frequent speaker at Tea Party sponsored events in the Midwest, Tucker has been interviewed multiple times by national media outlets and functions as a subject matter expert on health insurance for the Wallstreet Journal and Fortune Magazine. His Truth About Obamacare blog focuses on issues surrounding healthcare reform in the United States.
The Chicago Tea Party hosts monthly meetings for people to meet our elected officials and candidates, ask direct questions and discuss the most important issues facing our country. Our meetings provide you an opportunity to be informed, stay involved and socialize with great people. You are able to stay up to date on the latest from the Chicago Tea Party and learn about opportunities to volunteer and become more involved as Tea Party Patriots.
Admission is free. Parking is free for the first 70 people at the Cubby Bear. Food and Drinks are available at the Cubby Bear.
Additionally, if you bring TWO guests (who have never previously attended) to the December 2011 Chicago Tea Party meeting, you will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Restaurant.com gift certificate.
